Summer is gone..., and the kids are back in school...
  but, the warm breezes are still coming off the Chesapeake Bay.  Like the groundhogs are taking advantage in this lull from the heat and are prepping for winter, we need to take advantage of some after summer specials.  Groundhog Day  will soon be just around the corner.  Numerous clients and friends have asked, if now is the time to buy real estate or should they WAIT?  To all of them, my answer is the same..., "don't wait to buy real estate, buy real estate and wait...", that not to say that everything is priced to sell, but  the real estate market although sluggish, never hibernates.  

  The real estate market, like the seasons, has undergone  a number of  changes, but interest rates have remained low.  With inventory higher than usual, now is a excellent  time to take advantage of those summer close outs.  A 2br/2ba Bayfront Condo that was listed for $350,ooo has been reduced to $299,9oo  so, whether you are still looking to get on the water or to get into something new, there is much to see in most property types.  East Beach, Harbor Walk, Nansemond on the Bay, Granby Tower, The Spectrum, and a wide array of odds and ends scattered up and down the Ocean View Beaches. 

Here in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, the folks are out  walking their dogs,  flying kites or just out on a leisurely stroll.  The restaurants are crowded with everyone still wanting to sit outdoors, the lights on the bay at night..., still attracts us to her shores.
